It is the first curved phone to be launched in
India. The first curved phone of the world,
Samsung Galaxy Round is yet to be announced
for India.
LG has announced its first curved phone, G
Flex, for India. LG G Flex is the second curved
phone to be announced after the Samsung
Galaxy Round.
While talking to The Mobile Indian, Amit
Gujral, general manager at LG Electronics, said,
"LG G Flex will be launched in India in January
next year and will be priced around Rs
55,000."
The 177 grams weighing G Flex comes with a 6
inch curved OLED display. Unlike Samsung's
Galaxy Round, the LG G Flex is curved from
top to bottom to fit a users' face. Besides like
G2, its keys are placed on it rear panel, below
the camera, as the LG G2.
The G Flex is also quite well armed when it
comes to its internals. The handset comes
armed with 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800
processor and 2 GB RAM. Besides, it has a 13
megapixel rear camera, 32 GB inbuilt memory,
Android 4.2.2, and a 3500 mAh battery. Its 6
inch display has 1280x720 pixels resolution. In
the front, the LG G Flex has a 2.1 megapixel
camera.
